Panasonic Strengthens Presence in Africa; Opens First Panasonic Plaza in Kenya

Panasonic Corporation, a worldwide leader in technologies and solutions for customers in residential, non-residential, mobility and personal applications has announced the opening of the 1st Panasonic PLAZA, in Nairobi, Kenya. The move is aimed at serving its potential and existing customer’s in a highly professional and personalized setting.
Located in the buzzing Westland’s area, the showroom is labeled as the first fully equipped and comprehensive showroom by Panasonic. Through this showroom, the company’s complete range of audio visual products and accessories, entire range of home appliances as well as the inspirational range of beauty products, will be made available to the Kenyan consumers.
Present at the opening ceremony, were Mr. Masao Motoki, Managing Director, Panasonic Marketing Middle East & Africa, Mr. Bhop Indar Singh, Managing Director, Pole Stars along with the other dignitaries.
The “Panasonic Plaza”, is a striking example of Panasonic’s customer centric approach to servicing the dynamic and affluent Kenyan market. Located strategically, the integrated showroom will serve as an ideal one stop shop, with a service center and a contact centre in one location. The Plaza will offer unsurpassed services to its esteemed customers, enabling convenience and easy accessibility to the rapidly growing Kenyan Market.

Panasonic has partnered with Pole Stars – key business partners for Panasonic products in Kenya. Pole Stars will also be providing the after sales service to the customers in Kenya.

With the new showroom, Panasonic is focused on increasing its footprint across the African continent and customers in Kenya will now have direct access to Panasonic’s latest products. As part of the opening ceremony, three lucky winners were also rewarded with Panasonic gift hampers. A lucrative limited period offer and Facebook competition was also announced to celebrate the opening of the Panasonic Plaza.
