Enterprise software developer Software AG will discuss the importance of harnessing the power of business process management (BPM) to attain optimal levels of operational excellence during the Saudi Arabia CIO Summit taking place from September 17 to 18, 2013 at the InterContinental Hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Running under the theme ‘Seize the Moment: Transform, Innovate, Collaborate,’ the upcoming third edition of the Saudi Arabia CIO Summit is being organized by global IT market research firm IDC. The event will tackle in depth how CIOs should proceed amidst Saudi Arabia’s ongoing IT transformation.
Vijay Jaswal, Software AG’s Chief Technology Officer for the Middle East and Turkey with more than 18 years of business process excellence expertise under his belt, will deliver a presentation titled ‘Bring Your Strategy to Life’ during the opening day’s afternoon roundtables. Jaswal will discuss how organizations can achieve operational excellence as well as gain competitive advantage by blending people, processes and IT in an end-to-end Enterprise BPM program.
Software AG, a Gold Sponsor of the event, will also demonstrate how its solutions can align the corporate strategy with business processes and IT applications so that ‘structure follows strategy.’
“CIOs in Saudi Arabia and around the world need to embrace new strategies to address new opportunities and threats. Software AG’s message for the summit is that if business processes keep on being relegated to departmental silos and are not aligned with business objectives and industry standards then operational excellence cannot be achieved. We aim to show how our unique approach to BPM can bring business and IT together to attain true Business Process Excellence,” said Nicky Sheridan, Senior VP – Middle East, Africa & Turkey, Software AG.
