Panasonic Showcases Comprehensive B2B and B2G Solutions

Panasonic Marketing Middle East & Africa, showcased its comprehensive line-up of industry leading total business solutions, at its first ever Systems Solutions Exhibition in Africa.
Panasonic’s has high-end industry solutions are tailored specifically to meet the needs of regional businesses, and support the diverse industry verticals across the African continent.
Held at the scenic and beautiful Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya, the event was attended by Panasonic’s key business partners from the African continent, along with Panasonic representatives, comprising of Mr. Yorihisa Shiokawa, Managing Director, Panasonic Asia Pacific, and Mr. Masao Motoki, Managing Director, Panasonic Marketing Middle East & Africa.
Products showcased at the exhibition comprised of Panasonic’s business solutions like telephones, faxes, office automation solutions, educational solutions like Panaboards, High definition communication solutions, network and analog products, home security products, batteries and lamps, air conditioners, and a host of eco solutions like ventilating and ceiling fan, and air purifiers.
Panasonic plans to actively promote and create new business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-governments (B2G) opportunities in Africa, while continuing to sustain its products in the traditional B2C business sphere.
Speaking at the exhibition, Mr Yorihisa Shiokawa, Managing Director, Panasonic Asia Pacific, said, “Africa is an emerging market, and the widespread reform across the country has resulted in an ever-improving business environment, and this together with other factors such as increased infrastructure investment and commodities boom have contributed to the doubling of the economy over the past decade. We as Panasonic are committed to being part of this development process that the country is witnessing and this exhibition is part of one such efforts to reiterate our commitment to the African markets”.
As a company, Panasonic offers a wide range of products from home appliances to beauty care products, to eco solutions and Audio Video products and automotive and industrial systems. The interesting line-up of business solutions showcased at the exhibition, reiterates Panasonic’s strength and commitment in the region moving forward.

Our product marketing strategy has been to understand, implement and develop products that our African consumers actually prefer! Currently, Panasonic is aggressively working towards expanding its reach and enhancing customer touch points across the Middle East & Africa. As part of providing a direct service network, Panasonic has already established representative offices across Africa, including Kenya, Angola, Nigeria, Egypt, and South Africa.
In parallel to the representative offices, Panasonic is also planning to open signature stores like the Panasonic Plaza’s across the continent. The Panasonic Plaza’s are set to serve as a one-stop destination for all the consumers. Currently, Panasonic Plaza is already operational in Kenya and Nigeria.
Panasonic plans to add 100 more service centers to the already existing line-up of 597 service centers across the Middle East & Africa (MEA) by March 2015.
“We will continue to invest in the region, bringing in new technology and products. We want to innovate and bring about a reformation with our products. We want to explore various industry segments, identify their needs and tailor make products specifically to meet the needs of the regional businesses. Our strong focus is on Africa, with the company looking to establish regional offices in most parts of the continent by the end of the year,” added Mr Motoki.
Panasonic is planning to expand aggressively in Africa and the exhibition is a major milestone in its drive to gain major in-roads in to the highly potential African market.
