Panasonic is pleased to announce the release of its pro-style shoulder-mount Full-HD camcorder HC-MDH2, equipped with the "Simultaneous Recording" function, which allows recording on dual memory devices simultaneously, a "5-Axis Hybrid O.I.S.+ & Level Shot Function" which thoroughly suppresses blurring and tilting, and a "New High-Sensitivity 1/2.3”Sensor”," which ensures recording of beautiful images even when shooting in low-light conditions.
“Panasonic’s shoulder-mount Full-HD camcorder HDC-MDH1 has a high reputation from camera operators for its high quality images and operability, in particular, at wedding ceremonies, where every single scene must be recorded with the best quality, and events such as seminars and meetings”, commented Hitesh Ojha, Deputy General Manager – Digital Imaging,Panasonic, Marketing Middle East andAfrica.
Panasonicis now pleased to announce the launch of the HC-MDH2 with greater advanced shooting performance, design and operability. Photographers can shoot still Photo’s in 20Megapixel resolution and videos in Full High Definition or in Standard Definition format. What’s more is that the LCD is positioned with the most suitable distance from the Photographer, to allow the Photographer to be able to spot certain special moments that need to be capture, in his peripheral vision.
Direct manual control of Focus, Zoom, Iris, White Balance and Shutter Speed, via the manual ring, are incorporated based on user needs to have control over varying shooting conditions.
Panasonicwill promote the New MDH2 as the new standard shoulder-mount camcorder for dependable high-quality shooting at important events.
Main Features
"Simultaneous Recording" in Dual Memory Devices for Added Dependability
> With the Simultaneous Recording function, the captured video can be recorded in dual memory devices at the same time, which means that even if a problem happens in one device while shooting, the video images are always backed up in the other device. This ensures high dependability.
> Relay Recording is also supported, making the camcorders effective for extended recordings.
5-Axis Hybrid O.I.S.+ & Level Shot Function
> "5-Axis" system thoroughly suppresses blurring - Hand-shake blur is thoroughly detected by the "5 axes" of vertical and horizontal movements and left/right and up/down arm movements plus roll rotation. Consequently, the optical and electrical corrections both ensure the suppression of image blur. This works well when shooting on the move, not to mention during high-magnification zooming, where hand-shake blur is common.
> Level Shot Function: Automatically correcting the tilting of captured images to make them horizontally level for ease of viewing - The tilting angle to the horizontal plane is automatically detected and corrected while the camcorder is stationary. This is very effective when it is difficult to check the levelness of captured images on the LCD in such cases as shooting from a high angle or shooting on the move, not to mention during normal shooting.
New High-Sensitivity Sensor
> Shooting in low-light conditions - The new Panasonic camcorder employs a large 1/2.33" New High-sensitivity Sensor. With the improved material quality, the new sensor can capture a larger amount of light, achieving approximately 1.3 times the sensitivity of sensors used in conventional models.
Intelligent 50x Zoom & 28-mm Wide-angle Lens
> Beautiful FHD image quality outside the optical zoom range – Offering powerful zooming performance with the Optical 21x Zoom plus Intelligent 50x Zoom.Panasonic's Super Resolution technology provides FHD image quality even when the optical zoom range is exceeded.
