Prologix Wins Prestigious 'Partner of the Year: Mid-Market Category' Award at Avaya PartnerConnect Event

Prologix, a leading IT and telecom systems integrator in the Middle East and Africa, was named Avaya's 'Partner of the Year: Mid-Market Category' at the PartnerConnect Conference held in Atlantis, Dubai on 21 November, 2013. Prologix, having achieved Avaya's highest certification level, is one of the vendor's select 'Platinum' Partners in the region. The system integrator was presented the award in recognition of its technical expertise, strategic sales momentum and effectiveness in the delivery of complex large-scale Unified Communications (UC) solutions based on Avaya's industry leading technologies, to mid-market customers in the region.

For a reputed government entity in the education sector, Prologix successfully delivered a centrally monitored and controlled telephony solution for connectivity of 22 schools. This system now provides staff with control of conferencing, messaging, administration and access to personal contact information.
In another major project, Prologix implemented a data networking and switching solution for Amana Contracting and Steel Buildings which enabled convergence of both voice and video communications. During implementation, Prologix leveraged its technical skillset to integrate the solution with the company's existing communications and business applications including Microsoft Exchange and Fax server. The system has also advanced productivity in the organization by allowing top management to uses soft phones embedded in their personal smart-devices for easy and secure access. In addition to these, Prologix has delivered high-quality Avaya mid-market solutions to over 25 customers in the region spanning diverse industry verticals that include education, finance and insurance, logistics, hospitality and construction.

The Avaya PartnerConnect conference in the UAE hosted more than 600 of the vendor's partners and will be followed up by events in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Africa and India. The purpose of the conference is to identify tangible market opportunities to address business needs in the region's midmarket, networking, unified communications and vertical industry sectors. The Avaya Business Partner Awards, which were announced at the event, recognize channel partners for market growth and achievements during 2013.
