Epson and Evena Medical to Demonstrate Application of Wearable Computing/Imaging at Arab Health 2014

At Arab Health, Epson will showcase the versatility of its Moverio smart glasses, successfully used by Evena Medical to create Eyes-On™ Glasses, a wearable vascular imaging system.
The Evena Eyes-on Glasses system is a patented design which enables nurses to see “through” a patient’s skin to the vasculature beneath. It includes digital storage to enable easy verification and documentation of vein patency, and telemedicine capability to share images and clinical informatics remotely.

About Moverio: Moverio is a wearable, binocular mobile content viewing device that offers the ability to view a variety of content through transparent lenses.
The pocket-sized control unit with its AndroidTM platform enables web browsing capability, allowing users to view web content, files and applications and side by side 3D viewing. As well as powering the Moverio system, this smartphone-sized box has dedicated buttons for common functions and a touch-sensitive trackpad for ease of use.
Moverio draws from Epson’s expertise in imaging technologies and delivers a perceived image equivalent to that of a 320-inch display viewed from 20 meters away.
Moverio is easy to use and comes with Wi-Fi connectivity, control unit, detachable headphones, SD card slot and a carry case.
