AccessData Signs Partnership with Help AG in the Gulf Region

Published Feb 9, 2014

AccessData, through distribution partner Advanced Risk Mitigation (ARM), has signed Help AG, a leading information security services and solutions provider in the Middle East, as a Preferred partner. The partnership extends to UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia which are key growth markets for AccessData and enables Help AG to offer their market leading cyber security, digital & mobile forensics and e-discovery solutions to regional enterprises.

Stephan Berner, Managing Director at Help AG says, “As the frequency of cyber attacks is growing rapidly across the region and e-crime becomes more sophisticated, organizations are beginning to realize that they need to think beyond traditional security solutions and embrace technologies that integrate digital forensics and incident response and remediation. AccessData is a pioneer in these areas and we are happy to add the company as a new strategic vendor partner to our portfolio. AccessData complements our existing products and services and regional organizations will appreciate the leading technology in cyber security, incident response & remediation and digital forensics.”

“Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) and Zero-day attacks are a major regional security concern, an area where AccessData will add a lot of value and complement solutions alongside other Help AG vendors like Palo Alto Networks.”

Help AG will promote AccessData’s market leading technology, including its Cyber Intelligence & Response Technology (CIRT), Forensic Toolkit® (FTK®), AD Lab and Mobile Phone Examiner Plus™ (MPE+™) technologies. The company will direct its efforts across verticals such as government, telecommunications, energy, utilities, and banking and finance, which historically have been prime targets of cyber terrorism and breach attacks.

“We are delighted to expand our partner community within the Middle East through this agreement. Help AG has a very good reputation within the local marketplace and we have great expectations that we will grow a solid business partnership, jointly delivering Cyber Security solutions to customers in one of our fastest growing regions” says Neil Batstone, Director International Channel Sales, AccessData, Inc.

As per the agreement, AccessData and ARM will extend its support to Help AG for the fulfillment of client SLAs when required. ARM will also conduct trainings and workshops to enable Help AG to fulfill all required sales & technical certifications and become a preferred partner for AccessData.

Vivian Gevers, Managing Director, ARM says, “As AccessData expands its scope beyond the law enforcement vertical to large corporates who today demand the capability to conduct their own in-house digital investigations, as well as in-house rapid detection and response to defend against hackers, malware and advanced persistent threats, it is imperative that we build a larger channel base.”

“We look for partners with a high degree of technical competence and experience in the security industry. Help AG is a leading and trusted security expert providing strategic consultancy and tailored information security solutions and services to a large number of diversified and high-profile enterprises across the Gulf. As such, they are a perfect fit to our partner ecosystem and we look forward to working closely with Help AG to help grow AccessData’s business in the region.”
