#OoredooSmart Launches with #ShahrySmart Services

Published Feb 16, 2014

Ooredoo announced an incredible upgrade for its Shahry Pack service, with the launch of #ShahrySmart Packs, following on from the announcement of 4G access for free earlier in the month.

The updated packs include up to 6GB of mobile data and more call time in addition to the Ooredoo 4G Key for free, so that Ooredoo customers enjoy more choice and more value.

Ooredoo’s #ShahrySmart Packs have evolved from Ooredoo’s current Shahry Packs, taking the best of the old plans and transforming them into new bundles that have been specifically designed for the new generation of customers who stay online all the time with their mobile phones.

To ensure that the widest possible range of customers can access the service, Ooredoo today also launched two new value-packed #ShahrySmartPacks, ShahrySmart 15 and ShahrySmart 35.

Waleed Al Sayed, Chief Operating Officer, Ooredoo said: “Ooredoo is taking the lead in offering our customers a new kind of mobile service. Building on our offering of 4G for free forever, we’ve created a range of new packs that really meet our customers’ data needs, and enable them to enjoy the power of 4G services and great value on calling.”

“Our ShahrySmart Packs will continue to be upgraded with new bonuses and new benefits, so that customers who select them can be sure they will always enjoy the most value and the best customer experience” he added.

As a bonus, customers who sign-up for the new #ShahrySmartPacks or upgrade to a higher value Pack before 10 March will get one month’s subscription for free.

The new #ShahrySmartPacks give customers a host of benefits including more internet data, free access to the 4G Key, and more local minutes and SMS in every pack.

For customers seeking the best possible value, the new ShahrySmart 15 and 35 deliver great bundles of data, local minutes/SMS and free access to the 4G key, starting at just QR15 per month.

Customers who choose the ShahrySmart 100 will also enjoy unlimited local calling and SMS to one selected number, while customers on ShahrySmart 150 can pick two numbers to call for free.

Customers who select ShahrySmart 250 and above can enjoy free unlimited local calls to any number. Plus, customers using the ShahrySmart 450 and above can enjoy a bundle of roaming minutes, for receiving calls when they travel abroad.

At the high-end, the ShahrySmart’s 750 offers customers 6GB mobile internet data, unlimited local calls and SMS and 300 inbound roaming minutes.

Current customers using Shahry Packs will automatically upgrade to the new #ShahrySmart Packs, providing them with more value for no extra cost.

As part of the #OoredooSmart campaign, customers will continue to see a range of benefits and upgrades to Ooredoo services throughout 2014, with a particular focus on delivering the latest and most innovative services to the widest community of customers.

To register for a #ShahrySmartpack, customers can call 111 or visit any Ooredoo Shop. Full details on the new #ShahrySmartPacks are available at www.ooredoo.qa.
