Make Life A Touch Smaller with the Elegant Liquid Z4 Smartphone

Published Mar 5, 2014

Following the success of the Liquid Z series, Acer recently unveiled the Liquid Z4, a compact 4-inch smartphone designed for those who enjoy taking photos, browsing the internet and using social media.

The Liquid Z4 has been designed with smooth edges making it easy to grab on the go. Weighing only 130 grams the Liquid Z4 features a compact design and at 9.7mm thick it slips easily into a user’s hand or pocket.

The front speaker boosted by DTS Sound™ technology allows for a richer experience. The AcerRAPID™ design acts as a personal control key bringing even more "one-hand" control to the user allowing them to unlock and/or wake-up the screen, launch the camera, take a picture, launch apps from home screen and pick up phone calls in a very intuitive way.

In an elegant, glossy and silky finish design powered by Android 4.2.2, the Liquid Z4 provides users with many features such as a dual-core 1.3 GHz processor, 4 GB of internal user storage, Wi-Fi, integrated GPS, and a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash.

Best-in class camera

The 5MP camera is great for those who love snapping away whilst on the go. With its 5 elements f2.4 lens, instead of the traditional 4 elements, and auto-focus, pictures appear even sharper and more vivid than before.

Custom profiles 4 you

> The Liquid Z4 features four different Quick Mode profiles targeted at different users and age groups.

> Basic Mode: for youngsters with fixed call and text functions;

> Easy Mode: messages, radio, weather, magnify, clock, quick call contacts to make life easier;

> Classic mode: all main functions in a simple and organised layout for first time smartphone users;

> Keypad mode: for people who primarily use voice and need their keypad right away.

Easier multitasking with Float apps

AcerFloat™ User Interface allows app windows to stay open, so users can multitask without having to back out of one app to work on another. The press of a key brings up the Float Apps shortcut where apps on a translucent screen float over the function being used. It is easy to access or toggle between apps like the camera, maps, calculator and notes, and it can be customised with up to 8 favoured app shortcuts. A Float Caller notification ensures that users will not be interrupted by incoming calls that take over the full screen. When a call comes in, the Float Caller mini-window pops up and the user can choose to take the call or reply with a quick message.

Easy to Share Files and Media

Acer smartphones also support AcerCloud, a file sharing and media management solution that lets users easily retrieve, enjoy and share their multimedia and data files using a variety of computing devices, including the backup of their photos on their connected devices. AcerCloud simplifies the management of digital assets across devices, regardless of platform, and is free on new Acer products.
