TANDBERG To Showcase Advanced Telepresence & Video Conferencing Technology At Gitex 2009

TANDBERG the leading provider of telepresence technology, high definition video conferencing and mobile video products and services will showcase the world’s most advanced commercially available video conferencing technology at this year’s Gitex exhibition.
The award winning Telepresence T3 will be the centre point of the TANDBERG stand and will be displayed in an innovative and interactive manner.
The T3 will enable show visitors to experience telepresence technology that makes remote participants feel like they are in the same room, regardless of geographical location.
The T3 offers the ultimate quality in telepresence with pin sharp detail on three large 65" full high definition displays and 1080p high definition cameras, and full duplex spatial audio.
“This redefined meeting experience supports accelerated decision-making on a global scale, in which real time, face to face communication takes place between participants half a world away,” says Munzer Aloush, TANDBERG Country Manager of UAE & Oman.
According to Aloush, TANDBERG has been associated with Gitex since 2004 and remains as optimistic about the benefits participation will offer to both the company itself, and potential customers.

Alongside the T3, TANDBERG’s other popular video conferencing products and solutions that have been implemented across all industries including health, education and within multinational companies around the world, will be on display.
The Vodafone Group, for example, that currently has 35,000 employees globally using TANDBERG solutions, has reduced travel costs by 30 percent.
Soon 70,000 employees across the globe will be connected via TANDBERG and this is sure to see a further saving on travel and accommodation expenses.
