Huawei Captures Most Of The ODN FTTH Market In UAE

Huawei, a leader in providing next generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, announced it has captured a considerable share of the ODN FTTH market in UAE for Etisalat. This enhances Huawei’s role as a major player in optical network in the UAE.

In it’s efforts to announce Abu Dhabi to be the first optical city worldwide, Etisalat has called on it’s partners in 2008 to help achieve this goal in two years.

Huawei took the responsibility ever since by building a huge delivery workforce equipped with latest technology tools along with excessive training programs, the result was a fast and efficient FTTH delivery over Abu Dhabi’s optical network.

As a major optical supplier in UAE, Huawei has supplied of the major part of Etisalat’s GPON network infrastructure equipment to support the growing need for high bandwidth in the local residential and corporate markets, Huawei provides the optical infrastructure with high quality integration services in order to connect every single home in Abu Dhabi to it’s supplied GPON network infrastructure.

Huawei has built a delivery organization comprising more than 600 engineers, technicians and labor. The delivery is taking place according to clear standard operating procedures and processes in full collaboration with Etisalat, which increases the efficiency while maintaining the quality of delivery.

This service delivery achievement is one of the results of Huawei’s recent establishment of it’s new branch of delivery and service in Bahrain, which came in the context of Huawei’s efforts to provide quality services to the telecom service market in the Middle East region.
