Published Apr 8, 2014

axiom announced that the highly-anticipated HTC One (M8) smartphone is now on sale at all its UAE stores and online via www.axiomtelecom.com

for AED 2,749.

Building on the award-winning HTC One (M7), the HTC One (M8) features an ergonomic all-metal design, stunning multimedia experiences, customizable online streams on the ever-changing homescreen, and intuitive gesture controls.

“Last year's HTC One was one of our best-selling smartphones, and we're expecting strong demand from our customers in the UAE for the HTC One (M8). Designed to impress and built to perform, the HTC One M8 features a beautiful design, enhancements to breakthrough features, and innovations that will enhance our customers' daily lives,” said Faisal Al Bannai, CEO, axiom.

Professional-Quality Photos and Video

Delivering creative and professional-quality photos and video, the Duo camera features HTC's innovative HTC UltraPixel module, a dual flash, and full 1080p HD video. A 5 megapixel wide-angle front camera captures superior selfies.

HTC UltraPixel enables a wide range of beautiful and creative effects, including altering the focus and background, and providing seasonal animations.

Zoe video, which automatically takes up 20 photos and a 3-second video, and enables users to edit photos and clips into a 32-second video, is now moving to the cloud, enabling users to share experiences with friends and family.

Fully-Immersive Multimedia Experience

On HTC BlinkFeed, the homescreen's online content feed, users can easily subscribe to media sources and custom feeds from 1,000-plus partners. On BlinkFeed, users can also find results from the pre-loaded Fitbit fitness app.

Further providing a fully-immersive multimedia experience for users, HTC BoomSound provides 25 percent louder sound than the HTC One (M7).

HTC Sense TV, which turns the smartphone into a “second screen” featuring favorite channels and shows, has been redesigned to provide a richer and more immersive navigation experience, including social feeds and live sports stats.

With HTC Connect, the HTC One (M8) becomes a universal wireless connector that turns compatible HTC devices into the ultimate media player.

Intuitive Smartphone Experience

HTC Sense 6's Motion Launch uses built-in motion sensors for the smartphone to detect its position and movement, and the user to interact with the phone without turning on the screen. Using the retro-style Dot View phone case, users can check time, weather, SMS, emails, and calls without touching the screen.

The HTC One (M8)'s battery lasts up to 40 percent longer, with an Extreme Power Save mode that provides up to two weeks of standby time.

The HTC One (M8) Qualcomm runs on a Snapdragon 801 processor with 2.3 GHz quad-core Krait CPUs and fully integrated 4G LTE, and includes Android 4.4, KitKat, the latest version of the Android OS.
