axiom Steps Up Online Presence

Published Apr 14, 2014

axiom has unveiled its new website in a bid to better serve customers and provide up-to-date intelligence on leading devices and products.

The website features the region’s first two hour delivery service for mobile devices, which is now live in the UAE and in Riyadh. The pioneering delivery service is set to be extended to additional cities and countries across the region the coming weeks.

axiom’s new-look, bilingual website features added interactive options, enhanced security, improved usability, greater integration with stores and unmatchable delivery options

Evoking axiom’s new tagline “Seriously Unlike Others”, the re-booted www.axiomtelecom.com forms a part of a wider strategy to improve customer service and interactivity and cements axiom’s reputation as the industry’s most connected, accessible and customer-facing company.

axiom’s renewed online focus comes as the Middle East and Africa (MENA) establishes itself as the fastest growing region in the world for e-commerce activity. According to a recent report by Visa Incorporated, the MENA’s e-commerce saw an estimated 45 per cent year-on-year increase to $15bn in 2012. Earlier this year, Euromonitor International revealed that internet retail sales are expected to grow by 95 percent in the UAE alone over the next five years.

“The ability to connect with our customers online is more important than ever, so we need to ensure that we have the most dynamic, high-tech and user-friendly website possible,” said Faisal Al Bannai, CEO, axiom.

“Our online orders have dramatically increased over the past few years, and our website has been specifically designed to adapt to that demand. Everything has been done with the customer in mind, and we are confident that it will enable us to significantly improve our ability to inform, entertain and deliver must-have devices and support services.”

axiom’s website has been tailored to address specific geographies and is fully optimized for smartphone and tablet browsing. It is designed to be fast and intuitive, particularly for product searches. Devices can now be compared side-by-side, whereas a review section and discussion forum provides would-be buyers added insight.

The ability to purchase online has been also been improved, with added security and payment flexibility (including acceptance of all major credit cards, allowing customers to pay in their local currency and cash on delivery options for most locations in the UAE and Saudi Arabia), as well as the aforementioned two hour delivery service.). Shipping is free for orders over AED or SAR 500, pre-booking options are available, and customers can place orders for delivery anywhere in the world.

In addition, the new website has been designed to ensure better integration with stores, taking the hassle out of managing service issues and keeping track of deliveries. As ever, axiom representatives are on hand when needed via web chat, email, social media and phone.

As with all axiom purchases, customers will benefit from a range of value-added services, including one hour BlackBerry express repair service, price protection guarantee, theft insurance, •stand-by phone during repairs, extended and regional warranty options, and pick up for repair and delivery.
