Acer Unveils New Aspire E 14 and E 15 Notebook Series in a Variety of Colors

Published May 11, 2014

Acer announces the Aspire E 14 and E 15 notebook series built with time-tested technologies ideal for users who require everyday productivity and infotainment at an affordable price. Available in a variety of fashionable colors to accentuate users’ personalities.

A complete range of display options is available to satisfy differing customer needs with the choice of Touch/Non-Touch, Full HD/HD, and glare or matte display.

Optimized touch experience for extra productivity

The 10-point multi-touch screen* allows users to tap, swipe and pinch with their fingertip to swiftly browse through content. The smooth navigation experience is further complemented with the Precision Touchpad that supports six core Windows 8.1 TouchPad gestures, reducing un-intended tap and cursor motions on the touchpad, and improving pinch-to-zoom, smoother scrolling, and screen navigation.

The Acer chiclet keyboard offers deeper keystrokes and well-spaced keys that provide solid tactile feedback while maintaining a quiet typing experience. The optional M-DISC Ready™ Drive* stores up to 4.7GB data on M-DISC™ media to provide safe data storage for several decades, and protect those priceless photo memories or data. Zero Air Gap technology* increases the display’s contrast ratio and improves panel visibility even in bright environments or under sunlight.

Ultimate portability in its class

Designed for users who want portability, productivity and entertainment in a trendy and affordable package, the Acer Aspire E 14 and E 15 series provide up to 7 hours of battery life. The Aspire E 15 with built-in optical drive is one of the slimmest form factors in this size and product segment.

Aspire E 14 and E 15 Series users can enjoy the convenience of having content right at their fingertips. The built-in AcerCloud automatically syncs data across multiple devices, permitting information sharing among laptops, mobile phones and tablets. AcerCloud allows access to remotely stored photos, music, videos and documents via the internet. Simply click the icons for Acer Photo, Acer Media, Acer Docs, Acer Remote Files and get access to the remote files anywhere.

Thoughtful placement of the I/O ports on the left and right sides enable the Aspire E 14 and E 15 Series to conveniently connect with other peripherals.

Sensational fun with enhanced multimedia experience

The Aspire E 15 is Skype Certified offering one of the best Voice over IP (VoIP) experiences. Built-in digital microphone and high quality speakers enhance bass band audio performance and allow authentic Skype communication.

The Aspire E Series notebooks with Windows 8.1, up to 16 GB memory and 1 TB hard disk, incorporates the latest NVIDIA GeForce or AMD Radeon™ discrete graphics for a truly cinematic or gaming experience. Latest AMD processors or 4th Generation Intel® Core™ processors boost performance and power efficiency for a full day’s work.

Movies and multimedia content are vivid and crisp on the optional full HD LED display* delivering a truly cinematic experience. Or connect to high definition TV for even larger viewing through the HDMI output.

A wide choice of colors is available for users to express their individual flair. The Aspire E 14 (14”) come in six colors — Piano Black, Pearl White, Glossy Copper, Ruby Red, Topaz Blue, and Jade Green — with a post geometric pattern on the cover. While the Acer Aspire E 15 (15.6”) notebook offers five colors — Midnight Black, Titanium Silver, Tiger’s Eye Brown, Sapphire Blue, and Garnet Red with an elegant hairline pattern.
