Injazat Supports Sharjah Ladies Club’s Pursuit of Educational and Social Goals

Published May 18, 2014

As part of its commitment to promoting IT literacy in the United Arab Emirates, Injazat Data Systems, a regional market leader for Information Technology Outsourcing, and Cloud and Data Center Managed Services, recently donated IT equipment and computers to the Sharjah Ladies Club. As part of this contribution, Injazat will support the Club’s 10 branches in the central and eastern regions to enhance their technological capabilities and will provide advanced educational and training services to club members.

Commenting on this initiative, Ibrahim Mohamed Lari, Chief Executive Officer of Injazat Data Systems, said: “Injazat has been actively involved in various activities and initiatives aimed at empowering key sectors of society, especially those which play major developmental roles in our region. Our support for the Sharjah Ladies Club reflects the need for a better understanding about the importance of information technology and all the opportunities and challenges which come with it.”

Moza Al Khayal, Head of Strategy and Business Development for the Sharjah Ladies Club branches, noted that the branches, which are headed by the Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, H.H. Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, are eager to diversify the services they provide to meet the various needs and interests of its members.

“The Al Dhaid branch is one of the oldest branches of the Club. It was opened by Her Highness in 1996 to serve the population of Al Dhaid and its neighboring areas. We are excited to make it the first of the branches to undergo major technological improvements and renovations, as well as enhancing the quality of services to be in line with modern developments,” said Al Khayal.

“The technical support provided by Injazat Data Systems will undoubtedly boost the level of services delivered through our educational facility - one of the most important facilities of the Club’s branches. The modern equipment Injazat has graciously donated will enable us to offer higher levels of training and educational services,” she concluded.

Injazat Data Systems also recently capitalized on its long-standing affiliation with Microsoft by distributing Microsoft software licenses to the EWA’A Shelters for Women and Children. The donation helped enhance the digital literacy and efficiency of over 100 employees and thus lead to better management of the non-profit organization’s three shelters across the UAE.
