HID Global Teams with Temenos to Offer the Most Comprehensive and Innovative Solutions for Internet and Mobile Banking Security

HID Global®, a worldwide leader in secure identity solutions, today announced it is sponsoring the 2014 Temenos Community Forum (TCF) for the seventh consecutive year. The event is being held from 20 to 22 May in the Rome Marriott Park Hotel, Via Colonnello Tommaso in Rome, Italy.

HID Global and Temenos are collaborating to deliver seamless solutions for next generation internet banking and financial services. HID Global’s ActivID® Appliance is pre-integrated into Temenos T24 for a secure, frictionless user experience for Temenos Connect customers.

At the Temenos Community Forum Partner Expo, HID Global will showcase true multi-factor authentication beyond simple passwords for online and mobile banking at Booth 12 including:

• Transparent device identification and real-time malware detection to combat online fraudsters
• Out-of-band verification for added transaction-level security
• Mobile tokens for the most convenient, secure access from smartphones or tablet computers

In addition to hands-on demonstrations, attendees will learn about HID Global’s unique Five Layers of Online Banking Security best practices to assist with compliance to the latest regulatory requirements.

During the event, HID Global subject matter experts will present in Breakout Session E7:

• Paul Anderson, End User Business Manager and Christy Serrato, Solutions Marketing, Financial Services - ‘The Implications of Layered Attacks’ on Thursday May 22nd from 11.15am to 12pm.

The session will examine how HID Global supports a multi-channel strategy with innovative, cost-effective banking solutions to ensure trust and confidence with mobile and internet services from Temenos. HID Global's ActivID Appliance pre-integrated with the T24 and Temenos Connect products will be featured to demonstrate how the solution secures online access for increased productivity without compromising sensitive data. Attendees will also learn about security best practices to combat cyber-threats and new technologies to protect against malware and other attacks using “the Most Innovative Security Product” for Retail Banking as recognised by the European Banking Forum.”
