APC by Schneider Electric Earns ‘Best Power Solutions Vendor of the Year’ at VAR Magazine’s Channel of Choice Awards 2014

APC by Schneider Electric, the critical power and cooling business unit of Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management, has bagged ‘Best Power Solutions Vendor of the Year’ distinction at the Choice of Channel Awards 2014 by the Vendors and Reseller (VAR) magazine.
The VAR Choice of Channel (COC) Awards 2014 were announced and presented during a ceremony at the Meydan Hotel on 27March, 2014. For two consecutive years in the past, APC by Schneider Electric has bagged the award for the ‘Power Solutions Brand of the Year’.
The voting process for the 2014 Awards followed a three-pronged approach, with in-person surveys complementing offline evaluation and online voting at www.varonline.com.
The finalists list featured familiar names from previous years, while a host of new brands also marked their debut. This year’s awards saw a record number of people voting for their preferred brands and companies. The overwhelming participation is an indicator of the inherent dynamism in the regional IT market with the COC Awards being an accurate reflection of channel perception.
APC by Schneider Electric beat off strong competition in the category to win a handsome lead in the overall results based on brand portfolio and product reputation.
