Sourcefire To Promote Its Award-winning Network Security Solutions At GISEC 2014

Published Jun 5, 2014

Sourcefire, now part of Cisco and a leader in intelligent cyber security solutions, announced that it is participating in the Gulf Information Security Expo & Conference (GISEC 2014) that is being held at Dubai World Trade Centre from June 9-11, 2014. The company plans to showcase its award-winning range of security solutions including Advanced Malware Protection, Next-generation network security, and Firewall and network security appliances at the region's only large-scale information security event.

“In a world with dynamically changing threats, targeted attacks and advanced malware, organisations need to be able to adapt protection in real time. The number of sophisticated threats and attacks has increased significantly not only globally but also here in the Middle East making many organisations susceptible to these attacks. At GISEC, we plan to demonstrate ways to proactively combat these advanced persistent threats and also highlight Sourcefire’s threat-centric approach to security, which focuses on protection before, during and after the threat,” says Anthony Perridge, EMEA Channel Director at Sourcefire, now a part of Cisco.

At GISEC 2014, Sourcefire will throw the spotlight on its dedicated Advanced Malware Protection solutions and its FirePOWER™ network-based security platform, including Next-Generation Intrusion Prevention Systems (NGIPS) and Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW).

Sourcefire specialists and management will be available to meet with customers and partner at their stand C-70.
