Sage Software Expects Rise In Regional CRM Demand Amidst Forecasted 15.5 Per Cent Growth For Global IT Spending By 2010

Published Oct 15, 2009
Sage Software, the leading global supplier of ERP, CRM, and HRM solutions to medium and large organisations, is anticipating an increased demand from the Middle East Customer Relationship Management (CRM) market, amidst recent forecasts by IDC indicating a 15.5 per cent growth for global IT spending by 2010. In addition, research firm Gartner also released data last July that showed worldwide software budgets are poised to increase by an average of 1.53 per cent in 2010. In line with this, the company is intensifying its awareness campaign for its CRM solution - ‘Sage CRM’ - with aims of leveraging the growth potential in the region.

Given the dynamics of the current business scenario as influenced by the economic crisis, regional companies are seeking to improve the services they provide to clients while leveraging customer contact information for targeted marketing. Designed to address these needs, ‘SageCRM’ offers an easy-to-use, fast-to-deploy on-site solution that allows enterprise-wide access to vital customer information. By utilising Sage Software’s pioneering solution, companies can adequately support vital processes via convenient storage and access to information about customers across different company departments. Sage Software also seeks to address the growing need among regional organisations in terms of supply chain and data management, which hold much potential in the coming year.

“Today, an integrated approach to inside and field sales automation, customer care, and marketing have become a major focus among businesses in the region, as firms look to reduce their costs by embracing virtualisation,” said Vikram Suri, Managing Director, Sage Software. “In addition, tracking and organising contacts with current and prospective customers have also become a priority. ‘Sage CRM’ software offers a full range of hosted or onsite deployment options, which affords companies the flexibility to run their business based on their specific goals. As part of our commitment to the regional market, we are also taking strides in helping companies devise a strategy and operational plan upon which to base their CRM initiative to ensure success.”

The primary features of ‘Sage CRM’ focus on sales, providing a snapshot of the sales cycle, and thereby allowing sales teams to effectively analyse and manage the sales pipeline within the CRM solution. The solution also addresses the marketing aspect of the business by allowing an in-depth view of the campaigns and facilitating effective use of marketing resources. Furthermore, ‘Sage CRM’ also offers customer care, mobile solutions, application integration, productivity tools, and Microsoft Outlook integration.

“As part of our campaign to increase our share in the region’s ERP market, we will be present at this year’s GITEX event, with aims of further expanding the reach of our ‘Sage CRM’, as well as the rest of our product portfolio. We are looking forward to meeting leading customers who are looking for technology-driven solutions to bolster their operations and help them counter the repercussions of the global crisis. We are confident that this initiative will rake in excellent opportunities for us to work with diverse organisations in the future,” concluded Suri.
