Acer Honored with Two Computex Design and Innovation Awards for Outstanding Industrial Design

Acer has been honored with two prestigious Computex Taipei Design & Innovation (d&i) Awards at this year’s Computex Show in Taipei for outstanding industrial design. The winning entries are the Acer Aspire V 13 notebook and Aspire U5-620 all-in-one PC.
The d&i Awards program is jointly hosted by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council and world-leading industrial design institution iF Design annually to recognize products for design excellence and innovation. Evaluation criteria include the degree of innovation, design quality, choice of materials, environmental friendliness, functionality and brand value, among others.
Acer Aspire V 13 Notebook
The 13.3-inch Aspire V 13 notebook features a simple and elegant form factor. It sports a 19.65 mm thin profile with clean lines, delicate contours and weighs 1.5 kg, making it great for work or on-the-go. For added distinction the Aspire V 13 features a delicate and sophisticated patterned aluminum cover, created with Nano Imprinting technology, which gives it a unique refined look and feel that will stand out among the crowd. The Aspire V 13 comes in dark gray and white.
The Aspire V 13 is incredibly capable too. It is preloaded with Windows 8.1 and packed with plenty of power with a 4th generation Intel® Core™ i processor.
