Gartner Positions AccessData in the “Leaders” Quadrant of the E-Discovery Magic Quadrant for the Third Consecutive Year

Published Jul 7, 2014

AccessData, the leader in incident resolution technology, today announced it has been positioned by Gartner in the “Leaders” quadrant of the “Magic Quadrant for E-Discovery Software.” This is the third consecutive year that AccessData has appeared in the Leaders quadrant. The report evaluates vendors based on completeness of vision and ability to execute against key e-discovery industry criteria.

Leaders in the Magic Quadrant for E-Discovery software possess four characteristics, including: functionality that meets one or more requirements of the left-hand side of the EDRM — identification, preservation or litigation hold, collection and processing, plus ECA — and one or more aspects of the right-hand side — processing, review, analysis and production; clearly demonstrates that their focus is software development and sales, as opposed to the provision of services; and shows a good mix of corporate and law firm buying centers among their clients.

“We view our positioning in the ‘Leaders’ quadrant by Gartner as confirmation of our leading e-discovery solutions, support and services to address our customers investigative, regulatory and litigation challenges and improve their business processes,” said Tim Leehealey, AccessData CEO. “Our ongoing commitment to technology development and investments in customer service and support will continue to drive advancements in this important e-discovery market.”
