Global sales of Fujitsu ScanSnap Document Scanners Break the Three Million Mark

Worldwide sales of the Fujitsu ScanSnap series now exceeds three million units, representing another milestone in the success story of this personal document scanner product line. The first two million ScanSnap scanners were sold between July 2001 and June 2012, and Fujitsu achieved the three million milestone in less than two years later making ScanSnap the second best selling document scanner range of all time beaten only by Fujitsu’s own fi Series range of professional document management scanners.

The ScanSnap series of personal document scanners set the pace for innovations in technology. The Fujitsu company PFU introduced the first ScanSnap in July 2001. Since then PFU has delighted many customers around the world, with total global sales surpassing one million units in December 2009, two million units at the end of June 2012 and three million at the end of April 2014.
In its commitment to meeting the changing needs of customers, PFU is further developing the ScanSnap series according to the needs of different markets and client requests, in order to provide products that support the businesses and lifestyles of a wide range of users.
