Acer Projectors P1383W TCO and P1510 TCO are now TCO Certified

Acer is proud to announce that two of its products, namely the P1383W TCO and the P1510 TCO projectors, have been awarded the TCO Certification by TCO Development. While this certification has been granted to several Acer Monitors in the past, it is the first time it has been given to Acer projectors.
Since 1992, TCO Development evaluates devices and products according to their quality, energy efficiency, and impact on environment. In order to gain TCO Certification, the Acer P1383W TCO and P1510 TCO were thoroughly analyzed in regards to the quality of the images they project (color performance, luminance, contrast, resolution and image size), the capacity of their acoustic noise, their level of energy efficiency, as well as their life length and ability to be recycled. Acer is honored to be able to guarantee its customer that, by purchasing a P1383W TCO or a P1510 TCO, they can be assured their projector is of the highest quality and meets a long list of sustainability requirements. Additionally, and exclusively for TCO Certified projectors, TCO Development has created the TCO Image Size Measurement, which indicated the maximum projected image size in high-quality and simplifies the buying process for the final user: thanks to TCO Image Size, they can easily pick the best performance projector that matches their size needs.
The P1383W TCO: best value projection
The Acer P1383W TCO projector features WXGA resolution, offering a more enjoyable viewing experience. This combined to its high brightness/contrast ratio and to the Acer ColorBoost II and Acer ColorSafe II technologies it employs, makes for crystal-clear images, enriched details and high color fidelity, even from long distances. Additionally, this projector is DLP® 3D Ready, enabling theatre-like 3D experiences in the comfort of the user’s home.
The P1383W TCO also offers wireless projection via optional Acer MHL dongle. The P1383W TCO is eco-friendly and offers Acer EcoProjection functionalities, such as reducing standby power consumption by up to 90% (from 5W to 0.5W) and lowering the general power consumption of the projector by up 70%. In Acer ExtremeEco mode, the lamp life can be extended up to 10’000 hours of battery life (5000 in standard and 6000 in Eco).

The Acer P1510 TCO projector features 1080p Full HD resolution, high contrast and brightness (3500 ANSI lumens) ratio, Acer ColorBoost II and Acer ColorSafe II technologies, and DLP® 3D Ready kit, offering crystal-clear visuals and a theatre-like 3D entertainment experience at home. The P1510 TCO also offers wireless projection via optinal Acer MHL dongle. What’s more, the P1510 TCO is eco-friendly and offers Acer EcoProjection functionalities, such as reducing standby power consumption by up to 90% (from 5W to 0.5W) and lowering the general power consumption of the projector by up 70%. In Acer ExtremeEco mode, the lamp life can be extended up to 7000 hours of battery life (3500 in standard and 5000 in Eco).
