Trofina Food & Morgan Additives Selects Epicor ERP

Published Sep 11, 2014

Epicor Software Corporation, a global leader in business software solutions for manufacturing, distribution, retail and services organizations, today announced that Trofina Food (ME) FZC L.L.C. and Morgan Additives Manufacturing Company have chosen to implement the next-generation enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution, Epicor ERP version 10.

Based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Trofina Food is a manufacturer of food products that promote and support a healthy lifestyle, while Morgan Additives is a newly established additive manufacturing facility in Jebel Ali Free Zone in Dubai, UAE. Knowledge Web Consultancy, a member of the Epicor Inspired Partner Network in the UAE, will implement Epicor ERP for both companies.

Morgan Additives chose Epicor over other vendors for its end-to-end process control, rapid implementation process and relevant out-of-box features. The company will implement Epicor ERP 10 across its two key locations.

“We were on a look out for the best-in-class ERP product available in the market and decided to opt for Epicor ERP after a rigorous selection process,” said Wael Abdulkarim, president for Morgan Additives Manufacturing Co. “Epicor ERP 10 is a world-class product with a low cost of ownership. The solution will enable us to manage our resources more efficiently and reduce waste. In addition, it offers a 360 degree visibility of customer performance with sophisticated dashboards to allow us to make quick decisions.”

Trofina Food, on the other hand, selected Epicor ERP 10 because of its quick access to information and other key features such as visibility of resource, inventory utilization, integrated finance, production, sales and inventory processes.

“After a thorough evaluation, we selected Epicor ERP 10 as it is based on next generation technology, that is platform and device independent which means we can use it as we wish,” said Dr. Edward Fadel, general manager for Trofina Food (ME) FZC LLC. “We are looking forward to streamlining our operations by adapting the industry leading processes that are available within Epicor ERP.”

“Morgan Additives and Trofina Food were evaluating solutions that not only have low total cost of ownership, but also have quick implementation cycles and are easy to use,” said Jawad Squalli, regional vice president for Epicor in Middle East, Africa & India. “Epicor ERP 10 is the ideal choice as it’s designed to fulfill the current business requirements, offering choice, flexibility and agility for both companies to streamline processes and further grow their businesses. In addition, its improved responsiveness and simplicity will ensure that users are productive from day one, leading to faster time to value and better return on investment.”

Epicor business software solutions are designed to inspire and maximize productivity across the entire organization. The company continues to forge strategic partnerships with some of the leading names in the industry to streamline the manufacturing, distribution, services, retail, and hospitality processes via innovative approaches to designing, building, and using ERP solutions.
