AMD to Showcase its High-End Gaming Technology at GITEX 2014

AMD is heavily focusing on component products at this year’s GITEX, showcasing the latest processors and APUs, graphics cards, and the latest games optimised on AMD technology. The technology innovator will also have a five screen AMD Eyefinity technology set up (five 32 inch monitors), which takes gaming and entertainment to the next level, making the AMD stand a must-visit opportunity for gaming fans visiting GITEX. In addition to the gaming technology, AMD will also be demonstrating a number of recently released notebook products, including the new FX notebook processor which powers exciting new notebooks such as the Lenovo IdeaPad Z50 which will also be on display at the event.
AMD will be demonstrating its most recently launched products with gamers in mind, like the AMD Radeon™ R9 285 graphics card, - serving as the newest desktop GPU in the award-winning AMD Radeon R9 series graphics family - and the new speed- and power-optimized AMD FX Series CPUs, that push the boundaries of value and efficiency in high-performance desktops. GITEX will be a key opportunity for AMD to showcase to all attendees the phenomenal performance of AMD Radeon R9 & R7 graphics cards, including the Radeon R9 295X2, currently the fastest graphics card in the world.

In addition to showcasing products, AMD will also be hosting daily gaming competitions at its stand, with a winner selected each day. The top gamers from the region will also be at the stand throughout the week and will be participating in a LAN competition on the last day of GITEX.
