Foresight Technology Certified as Huawei ‘Gold Channel Partner’

Published Nov 30, 2014

Foresight Technology, a subsidiary of Alpha Data Group and leading UAE systems integrator, announced it has been certified as a ‘Gold Channel Partner’ for ICT solutions provider, Huawei. Officially authorized to support Huawei’s enterprise business, Foresight Technology will represent Huawei’s portfolio of IT and networking solutions and focus on developing relationships and increasing brand affinity within the Enterprise and Commercial sectors in the UAE. With a world-class service delivery team, Foresight Technology has been satisfying customers since 2002.

Foresight will aim to drive Huawei’s sales to support its fast growth in the enterprise and commercial market of UAE. Its main business lines include Service and IT Consulting, System Integration and Software Development. Under the terms of the partnership, Abu Dhabi–based Foresight Technology will carry Huawei’s line of routers and switches, wireless LAN technology, security solutions as well as its server, storage, and cloud technologies.

“One of Foresight Technology’s major priorities is to establish strong ties with leading global ICT players such as Huawei. Huawei’s dedication to customer-centric innovation and solid industry partnerships will enable our subsidiary, Foresight Technology, to deliver enhanced end-to-end capabilities to its current customers and potential clients who want to benefit from both Huawei’s leading products and Foresight’s integrated solutions,” said Fayez Ibbini, Founder and Managing Director of Alpha Data Group.

Sufian Dweik, Vice President, Huawei, Enterprise, UAE commented: “We are proud to have Foresight Technology as a Tier 1 ‘Gold’ Partner. With an excellent track record of deploying technology and it’s in depth understanding of the local market, we are confident that Foresight Technology will continue to help grow Huawei’s business in the UAE.”

From training in sales, pre-sales, support services to provide Proof of Concepts and funds to enable the right training and marketing platforms, Huawei believes that it is vital to provide extensive support programs to help partners improve their go-to-market effectiveness.

Moustafa Hassan, Channel Manager at Huawei in the UAE said: “The ongoing collaboration with Foresight Technology is in line with Huawei’s strategy to enable its partners and provide them value across difference vertical markets. Through developing tools to empower channel partners, Huawei is committed to providing the right training and platform for partners to deliver to the end-users.”

Earlier this year, Huawei re-aligned its channel strategy based on key trends that are affecting the region’s enterprises, identifying opportunities to affect notable change through the implementation of mobility, big data and agile network solutions. This includes helping its partners to focus on medium-sized businesses in addition to industries including Oil & Gas, government, hospitality, healthcare, education, retail and manufacturing.
