Nexans Wins ‘Best Physical Infrastructure Vendor’ At Reseller Middle East Hot 50 Awards

Published Jan 18, 2015

Nexans, the worldwide leader in cables and cabling systems, announced that it has won the ‘Best physical infrastructure vendor’ award at the prestigious Reseller Middle East Hot 50 Awards held in Dubai.

In its third year, the Reseller Middle East Hot 50 awards recognises and honours fifty companies that have shown excellence throughout the year in various categories. These 50 ‘hot brands’ ranged from various stakeholders of the channel ecosystem, right from distributors, resellers and systems integrators to vendors.

“We are honoured to be chosen by the editorial team of Reseller Middle East for this award. Nexans has always been striving for excellence with its continuous investment in R & D to bring the most innovative cabling solutions to the market. This award is also a recognition of our team’s dedication to our customers and partners in providing only the highest level of expertise, excellence, customer service and support. We thank Reseller Middle East for this top honour,” says Mr. Tarek Helmy, Regional Director Gulf and Middle East, South & East Africa of Nexans Cabling Solutions.

Nexans boasts of a broad range of cabling products vis-à-vis other cabling vendors. The company has a wide range of best-in-class products such as the LANmark-6A and -7A products, the LANsense Next Generation Analyser (NGA) and the Nexans EMAC (environmental monitoring and access control) devices, complete data centre solutions in both copper and fibre, and high-density patching. The company also has pre-terminated customised copper assemblies in Cat6A, Cat7A, as well as fibre assemblies in OM3, OM4, & OS2. These solutions enable the rapid deployment of cabling in installations where the time on site must be minimised especially in data centre environments; and Slimflex bend-insensitive fibre patch cords, specifically designed for environments with increasing port density, such as the data centre.

Apart from the above products, Nexans offers a complete range of LAN cabling products and value added services providing improved reliability and reduced cost of ownership for Network Managers. All offered solutions are supported by the Nexans 25-year warranty program that covers Products, Performance, Channel, and Labour.

Earlier in the year, Nexans has won the ‘Best Cabling Vendor of the year’ at the Network Innovation Awards 2014 and the Network World Middle East Awards 2014 for the second year in a row. These awards are organized by the two of the largest and independent IT publications in the Middle East, which is a clear recognition of Nexans’ strong market position vis-à-vis competition. The Reseller Middle East Hot 50 Awards 2014 for the ‘Best physical infrastructure vendor’ is another feather in Nexans’ cap.
