ESET’s Launches Next-Generation Business Security Products with Increased Usability, Performance and Manageability

Published Mar 3, 2015

ESET®, a global pioneer in proactive protection for more than two decades, today announced the global availability of its completely re-engineered and redesigned range of IT security products for business. At the heart of the upgrades is the new ESET Remote Administrator- a platform-independent, remote management console that has been rebuilt to enhance usability, improve security and lower the overall cost of implementation and management.

“Falling victim to cyber attack is now a matter of when rather than if for companies in the Middle East. Cyber criminals prey on all organizations, irrespective of their size and line of business. The number of cyber threats in the region is constantly rising and this is posing a significant threat to organizations' ability to conduct business,” said Neo Neophytou, Managing Director, ESET Middle East. “ESET's revamped range of business security solutions addresses the specific challenges of usability, flexibility and performance that Middle East organizations face and delivers comprehensive IT security to companies of any size.”

After months of in-depth worldwide business user research, followed by intensive design, engineering, development and testing, ESET is now making its all-new business range available worldwide. The all-new IT security products offer maximum proactive protection with low impact on company infrastructure, as well as packing a wealth of new features, such as Botnet Protection, Exploit Blocker, Anti-Phishing and Anti-Theft.

The new ESET Remote Administrator features a built-in task management system to minimize downtime, while allowing actions to be performed automatically based on dynamic group membership. In addition, the new user interface for ESET business security products simplifies the tasks of monitoring, configuring and controlling network activity to ensure the organization is forewarned and protected against unwanted and malicious actions.

Ignacio Sbampato, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at ESET said, “Security vendors must offer their customers better solutions that don't hog an organization’s resources when fighting off threats. That’s why we are offering the market unparalleled value in our new products and services. Our goal is to exceed our customers’ expectations, offering them first-class security that is unbelievably efficient and effective to install, configure and run.”
