GENX To Launch 'GENX Α' And 'G•Touch Pro' At GITEX Technology Week 2009

GENX, one of the leading digital lifestyle accessories brands in the MENA region, has announced that it will simultaneously launch two new products – "GENX α" and "g•touch pro" – to serve as one of the highlights of GITEX Technology Week 2009. "GENX α" is a high-power wireless-G USB adapter that powers laptops and desktops to capture the strongest wireless signal, while "g•touch pro" is the latest addition to the GENX world's MP5 players, which has been enhanced with the G-sensor technology.

Featuring an SMA adapter (5dBi Antenna), GENX α connects at a full 54Mbps via USB 2.0, which is up to eight times faster than a USB 1.1 adapter. GENX α is high gain upgradeable and is compatible with USB 1.1 desktop and notebook computers. It is also plug-and-play compatible with windows 98SE, 2000, Millennium, XP and Linux and comes with high security 64/128/256bit WEP Encryption, TKIP, WPA, 802.11.
g•touch pro is a convenient, one-touch personalised entertainment solution for music, videos and photos, which can be viewed in any orientation through the G-sensor technology. g•touch pro is equipped with a 3-inch QVGA full touch screen panel and features a 2GB flash memory and microSD slot that allows for quick memory upgrades of up to 8GB.
g•touch pro supports MP3 and WMA audio formats; RM, RMVB, FLV, MPEG4, MP4, DAT, VOB, 3GP, WMW and MPG video formats; and JPEG, BMP and GIF picture formats. Other key features of g•touch pro are an FM radio, digital voice recording, e-Book support, seven EQ modes, multiple-language support, built-in 8 Ohms speaker and a Lithium rechargeable battery.
The GENX 32-inch LCD TV Xtreme Series delivers premium-quality HD video and has been equipped with a range of value-added features such as noise reduction technology, weak signal enhancement, 3D comb filter and child lock system. It also supports RF, CVBS, CVBS Audio, S-Video, Component, PC audio, VGA and HDMI input.
