Canon I-SENSYS: Cost-Efficient Laser Multifunctionals And Printer For Business

Published Oct 19, 2009
Canon Middle East has today unveiled six new i-SENSYS A4 laser models that comprise four colour and one mono multifunctional devices, along with a colour single function printer. Each model delivers fast, high quality and cost-effective laser output for businesses at any level – from small business to larger enterprises.

The four network-ready colour laser multifunctional printers: the entry-level i-SENSYS MF8030Cn, i-SENSYS MF8050Cn, and the mid-range i-SENSYS MF8330Cdn and i-SENSYS MF8350Cdn - make fast, high quality colour laser printing, scanning, copying and faxing* even more affordable for small to medium-sized businesses.

The i-SENSYS MF6680dn is a robust mono multifunction printer offering print, copy, scan, fax and SEND functionality. 30 ppm/cpm and a large paper capacity make it suited for high print and copy volumes. The i-SENSYS LBP7750Cdn is a heavy-duty colour laser printer offering high quality mono and colour output at up to 30 ppm (pages per minute). These two high specification units deliver fast, high quality output for busy corporate and SME workgroups.

The i-SENSYS MF8030Cn, MF8050Cn, MF8330Cdn and MF8350Cdn bring Canon’s colour laser multifunction technology to small offices and workgroups, at a cost any business can afford. All four network-ready models offer colour laser printing, scanning and copy functions, while i-SENSYS MF8050Cn and i-SENSYS MF8350Cdn also add fax functionality.

The i-SENSYS MF8000 series offers exceptional colour quality output, low power consumption and phenomenal ease of use – all of which are combined in a compact, high quality unit with a stylish minimalist design. Offering 8ppm colour and 12ppm mono, the network-ready i-SENSYS MF8000 series is perfect for sharing in a small office.

The i-SENSYS MF8000 series is simple to operate thanks to the 5-line LCD with intuitive menu and easy scanning over both USB and network. Scan to USB memory provides businesses with maximum flexibility and convenience.

Canon’s Quick First-Print technologies save time and cut costs by providing a quick wake-up from sleep mode as well as extremely low power consumption.

The i-SENSYS MF8300 series offers all the benefits of the i-SENSYS MF8000 series, as well as faster prints – up to 20ppm in both mono and colour, automatic double-sided printing and larger paper capacity. The i-SENSYS MF8300 series is perfect for sharing in small teams or workgroups with higher print volumes.

As the new flagship model of Canon’s i-SENSYS mono multifunctional range, the i-SENSYS MF6680dn offers corporate and SME workgroups significantly faster 30ppm output speeds as well as SEND functionality in a more compact and stylish design.

A new 30ppm mono print engine combined with Quick First-Print technologies provides the i-SENSYS MF6680dn’s high speed and responsive mono printing and copying. The i-SENSYS MF6680dn also has one of the fastest First Copy Out Time’s in its class – just eight seconds or less.

The i-SENSYS MF6680dn also features Canon’s powerful SEND function with Compact PDF, enabling users to scan directly to email or a network folder. Compact PDF uses a highly efficient processing technique to reduce file size, up to one-tenth the size of standard compression, but without compromising on image quality.

The i-SENSYS MF6680dn is Energy Star and Blue Angel certified with a low power consumption of just 3W in Sleep mode - making it one of the most energy-efficient models in its class. Other standard features include automatic double-sided printing and a Duplex Automatic Document Feeder (DADF) to enable automatic double-sided copying.

A robust design, a 500 sheet standard paper cassette and maximum 1,050 sheet total paper capacity make the i-SENSYS MF6680dn perfect for high print volumes.

For large enterprises that need to produce high quality colour laser output in volume, Canon has introduced the i-SENSYS LBP7750Cdn – this flagship laser printer adds 30ppm colour printing, as well as optional Postscript and PDF Direct Printing support to the 2009 i-SENSYS range.

The i-SENSYS LBP7750Cdn combines a new 30ppm colour print engine with Quick First-Print technologies to deliver exceptional performance to business users: it has a First Print Out Time of approximately 10.4 seconds – making it one of the fastest in its class.
The i-SENSYS LBP7750Cdn’s double-sided printing is highly productive at up to 27 ipm (images per minute).

The i-SENSYS LBP7750Cdn meets the diverse print requirements of corporate and SME workgroups through a variety of options including Secure or Encrypted printing, PostScript support, Barcode printing as well as a wireless printing.

The i-SENSYS LBP7750Cdn is easy and efficient to use thanks to a 5-line LCD display with intuitive menus, plus animated setup and troubleshooting wizards. High yield All-in-One cartridges and low power consumption in Sleep mode (1.7W) help cut costs, while the i-SENSYS LBP7750Cdn is also Energy Star and Blue Angel certified.
