Fujitsu ScanSnap iX100 Document Scanner Receives Red Dot Award for Product Design

The Fujitsu ScanSnap iX100 has been selected among strong competition by the Red Dot Awards jury of 38 renowned design specialists from around the world. The jury tested and evaluated more than 4,928 products from 56 nations to select this year’s recipients.
Designed to support the needs of business professionals, the Fujitsu ScanSnap iX100 makes scanning on the go efficient and productive. The ultra-portable and very light solution comes with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity and lithium-ion battery to allow mobile workers to capture documents directly to smartphones, tablets, PCs and Macs via Wi‑Fi and to share data via cloud services.

The Red Dot Award
First held in 1954, the international Product Design competition and its award, the Red Dot, is an internationally recognised quality seal. The jury is composed of renowned specialists from all over the world that guarantee with their expertise the high quality level of the competition. The adjudication process follows a canon of strict criteria, covering, among others, the degree of innovation, functionality, self-explanatory quality and ecological compatibility.
