Etihad Atheeb Telecom Co. “GO” And Etihad Etisalat "Mobily" Ink An Interconnect Agreement

Etihad Atheeb Telecom “GO” and Etihad Etisalat "Mobily" announced the signing of an Interconnect Agreement between the two companies, The agreement was signed by both of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Etihad Atheeb Telecom “GO” and Eng Khalid Al Kaf, CEO of Etihad Etisalat "Mobily" at the presence of senior officials of both companies.

His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmed described the signing of the agreement as a part of the framework of collaboration between licensed telecommunications companies in the kingdom to ensure the provision of high quality services, the Agreement between Etihad Atheeb Telecom “GO” and Etihad Etisalat "Mobily" will authorize the transfer of data and voice services between customers of both companies allowing them to benefit from all the services exchanged while ensuring the quality of services.

The agreement includes a connection between switches, and linked communication between Signaling Networks, Transport Networks traffic routing, synchronization, and Interface standards for connectivity, in addition to ensuring the level of service provided, and level of operation and maintenance processes, which includes network operation, routing management and traffic management, operational testing and safety standards, as well as procedures for billing and call detail records and intellectual property rights.
