OMA Emirates launches Managed Services for Banks at Cards & Payments Middle East 2015

OMA Emirates, a provider of cutting edge technology for the payment industry today announced the company’s launch of end-to-end OMA Managed Services for banks at Cards & Payments Middle East 2015. The new addition to the company’s portfolio provides banks with onsite teams to manage Terminal and POS services, POS Network Services, ATMs, Remote IT Infrastructure and Payment Solutions. Other solutions being showcased at the industry gathering include the range of payment and transactions services and solutions.
The new OMA Managed Solutions has no ownership costs for banks and financial institutions and provides 24/7 skilled onsite or offsite manpower. It provides them with a cost effective alternative along with the benefits of smoother card production in order for the banks to achieve better customer satisfaction.

There is an increased demand by banks and financial institutions to adopt managed services either partially or fully. Added to the impact that these services bring to reducing the cost strain, more banks are relying on the attractive proposition of operational excellence and the diverse service models made available by managed service providers. Additionally, with quick technology advancements, the burden of maintaining and upgrading IT infrastructure can also be tackled by managed service.

“Broadly grouped, OMA Managed Services will cover leasing of Terminal and POS services, POS Network Services, ATMs, Remote IT Infrastructure and Payment Solutions. To suit the unique business demands of banks, OMA Managed Services will also cover POS Support Services for bank and financial institution. This will cover support services for new POS terminals supplied or the existing POS base, peripherals and supplies. This is not just cost beneficial but will also adhere and support all Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance standards. The POS Network Services will also provide standard or custom-tailored solutions including managing POS network, transaction routing and switching, software management, onsite or remote services and hardware maintenance.

Within the ATM services, OMA Managed Services is capable of providing essential ATM network management for banks to provide services to their customers. Simultaneously as a transaction provider, the company will customize technology solution packages to connect ATMs and also connect to national and international networks. The fully compliant ATM services are provided using tried and tested software and mandated international standards.

The Remote Monitoring and Management Services follows a proactive approach and has a unique model of onsite, offsite and offshore of IT infrastructure to cover servers, desktops, laptops, network devices, backup, printers, etc, partially or fully. The 24/7 service supports banks in utilizing the advanced technology to their full capacity with technical staff that provide services to the banks with PCI compliance standards.

On the Payment Solution front the company is capable of handling Switching Services and Automated Payments. The former provides outsourced transaction switching services for ATMs, POS, Internet and any other transactions based on a card on behalf of banks and retailers. The services are delivered from secure, certified and proven centres that are designed to operate 24/7 while using tried and tested software that is fully compliant with all the mandated international standards.
