75 Million Reasons Why Office Products Must Be Windows 10 Compatible

Published Sep 10, 2015

Kodak Alaris announced that its desktop, workgroup and departmental scanners can now be upgraded to support the new Windows 10 operating system from Microsoft. Customers can perform the free download by visiting the Kodak Alaris website and installing new drivers on their scanners.

“With recent reports that Windows 10 has reached more than 75 million devices in its first month of availability, there’s an immediate need for scanners and other office products to be compatible with the new operating system,” said Tony Barbeau, Products & Systems general manager and vice president, Information Management division, Kodak Alaris. “We’re pleased to be among the first scanner manufacturers to offer Windows 10 compatibility so our end-users can make a smooth transition to the latest technology from Microsoft.”

Updated drivers are currently available for the following Kodak Alaris scanner models:

KODAK SCANMATE i920/i940 Scanner
KODAK SCANMATE i1150/i1180 Scanner
KODAK i2000 Series Scanner
KODAK i3000 Series Scanner
To download the new drivers from Kodak Alaris, customers should visit www.kodakalaris.com/go/windows10news.

It should take less than ten minutes to download the driver and be fully up and running. Updated drivers will be available for additional scanner models later this year.
