Kodak Alaris to Showcase Information Management Innovations at GITEX 2015

Published Sep 20, 2015

Data and intelligence are central to the future of organizations in the digital age. Unlocking the value within an increasing volume of information is a critical task for all organizations. The end goal: make processes more efficient so customers and workers are satisfied, that results hit the roof and clients win in the knowledge economy.

At GITEX 2015, Kodak Alaris will showcase a range of artificial intelligence software and scanners used by businesses and government agencies to manage and process information more efficiently. This will include ibml, cloud and browser based software capture and a number of recent innovations such as the new i4000 Series Scanners, designed to process documents faster than ever before.

“We introduced KnowledgeShare at GITEX 2014 and it continues to be at the heart of discussion with our customers, fuelled by further success at the likes of CeBit in Germany and Documation in France. We are excited to share again more this year around that as we believe this is the perfect answer for our clients to be more competitive” said David Whitton, regional sales director for Middle East and Africa, Kodak Alaris. "We have invested considerably in the Gulf region, opening dedicated service centres in Dubai, Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Khamis Mushait, providing fast local support for organizations using both Kodak and third party scanners. We have plans to expand further in the MENA region, continuing to help make our customers more competitive through our innovative solutions.”

Innovation takes center stage

GITEX 2015 as last year will be a great occasion for Kodak Alaris to announce new innovations and solutions. The new i4000 Series is an example of this innovation - ideal for busy office environments, service bureaus, business process outsourcers (BPOs), corporate and government mailrooms who demand superior image quality, speed and reliability. The recently enhanced Kodak i4250 and i4650 Scanners and the new i4850 Scanner are built on the i4000 platform and are now equipped with features that help scanning professionals process documents more efficiently than ever before. All models scan in duplex, colour and black and white, resolutions up to 600 dpi, and paper sizes up to A3.

The company recently announced that its desktop, workgroup and departmental scanners can now be upgraded to support the new Windows 10 operating system from Microsoft. Customers can perform the free download by visiting the Kodak Alaris website and installing new drivers on their scanners. To download the new drivers from Kodak Alaris, customers should visit www.kodakalaris.com/go/windows10news.

Join Kodak Alaris at GITEX, Hall 4, Stand B4-3, for a demonstration. The company will also have two partners – ibml and NVSSoft exhibiting from the Kodak Alaris stand.
