A New Video Service From MSN Arabia And Reuters

Coinciding with the 2009 GITEX Technology Week, MSN Arabia has launched a new video service delivering breaking worldwide news coverage provided by Thompson Reuters to its users.

The portal will display up-to-date video coverage of global events in a variety of different sectors, including political, economic and entertainment topics. All content will be provided directly by Reuters, the leading global news agency.

“LINKdotNET continually aims to deliver innovative services to its users, which is why we decided to display news content in video format,” explained Mohamed El Sayad, General Manager of MSN Arabia. “Not only does this complement our established written news delivery, but it takes online news to a whole new level by engaging users in a more dynamic way.”

He also added that he is very proud of 2009 achievements and is promising on "Launching more surprises in 2010 catering for the consumer and trade marketing".

It is also worth mentioning that LINKdotNET is representing MSN Arabia Windows Live, showcasing MSN Arabia’s plethora of new channels, services and content; such as News channel, Business channel, cooking channel, Technology channel, and Videos in corporation with Reuters. These achievements were all launched in 2009.
