Get Dynamic and Creative with the Detachable Portégé Z20t

Published Nov 23, 2015

The Portégé Z20t, a top-of-the-line convertible Ultrabook, is the latest addition to Toshiba Gulf FZE’s portfolio. The hybrid model promises the perfect balance of productivity and mobility, making it the ideal device for frequent travellers.

More time for everything
Sporting an easy-to-use design, the 12.5-inch Portégé Z20t with a detachable keyboard is equipped with Intel® Core™ M processors, which are known for delivering first class performance and a very good battery life.

The tablet’s battery can last up to eight hours when used without the keyboard. With the keyboard attached, this convertible can last an impressive 17 hours on just a single charge. Whether you’re using it for work or play, the Portégé Z20t gives you more time to enjoy what you do best.

Productivity is top priority
The Portégé Z20t has a full-size and fully detachable keyboard that allows you to multitask endlessly. Create heavy multimedia presentations and fill in multiple spreadsheets while enjoying the calming music that plays in the background.

The convertible Ultrabook is equipped with a svelte dock that houses a spill-resistant keyboard. The hinge on the back of the device allows you to elevate the keyboard for maximum typing comfort. It’s no less convenient to do hours of work on this convertible than on a traditional laptop or a desktop PC.

When you’re on the train or on a plane and could use a little less weight to carry around, you can simply detach the keyboard to enjoy an e-book or a movie, or maybe even to write a poem or a short story using the Portégé Z20t’s tablet mode. A high-precision pen and the screen’s anti-glare coating work together to give you a comfortable viewing experience and a realistic pen-on-paper writing experience. You’ll find that the screen has minimal variation and friction, and is specially designed for ultimate responsiveness.

TruNote, a pen input app specifically designed for the Portégé Z20t, is great for scribbling notes and keeping them organised. The app features amazing handwriting recognition, so it can digitise then catalogue your notes and make them searchable.

Santosh Varghese, Toshiba Gulf FZE’s General Manager for Digital Products and Services, discusses, “To exhibit the genuine writing experience that the Portégé Z20t’s screen and pen offer, we arranged for a caricature artist to digitally draw individuals for free using the convertible. Needless to say, the results amazed the people!”

Smart interface for maximum convenience
In tablet mode, the Portégé Z20t has a Micro HDMI port, a Micro USB port, and a microSD slot for quick file transfer. The keyboard offers even more connectivity features with its full-size RGB, HDMI and Gigabit Ethernet ports. Its two USB 3.0 ports allow you to connect more than one external device to your convertible.

The Portégé Z20t has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of fast SSD storage for consistently reliable performance. Its Windows 8.1 Pro OS makes it ideal for professional use.
