Riverbed to Host Application Performance Themed End-User and Partner Event in Dubai

Published Feb 10, 2016

Riverbed Technology, the leader in application performance infrastructure, is set to host Riverbed FORCE and Riverbed Partner Connect in Dubai on the 22nd of February, 2016. The conference, targeted at end-users and the channel respectively, will follow a common theme of ‘Maximizing Application Performance’. The sessions will address, from both business and technical perspectives, how to manage the challenges of end-to-end optimization, visibility and control in hybrid IT networks. The emerging trend of SD-WAN will also be introduced and extensively discussed during the event.

“In hybrid enterprises where people, apps and data are everywhere, assuring application performance is critical to business productivity. Riverbed FORCE is an exciting opportunity for our customers to gain the tools and knowledge they need to address this complexity. The attendees will also gain valuable insights into SD-WAN which is set to be a game-changer, while also learning how our partnership with Microsoft will address their cloud, collaboration, Solution as a Service (SaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) ambitions,” said Taj ElKhayat, Regional Vice President, Middle East, Turkey and Africa at Riverbed Technology.

As a combination of two events- Riverbed FORCE and Riverbed Partner Connect- the day will be split into two segments with end-user focused sessions being conducted in the first half and the partner event held in the latter half of the day. As a prominent Riverbed Technology Alliance Partner, Microsoft will participate in Riverbed FORCE while StarLink will co-sponsor Riverbed Partner Connect.

Over 70 business and technology decision makers including CIOs, IT Directors, as well as technical professionals such as network admins, storage architects, and enterprise architects are expected to attend Riverbed FORCE, while Riverbed Partner Connect will draw in a similar number of new and existing channel partners.

In addition to keynotes by Taj ElKhayat and a spokesperson for StarLink, top technical personnel from Riverbed, Microsoft and StarLink will deliver presentations on the following topics:

Riverbed FORCE:

Application Command Center: End-to-End Visibility and Control
Microsoft and Riverbed Partnership: Better Together
SD-WAN for Hybrid Enterprises: The Riverbed Way
Riverbed Partner Connect:

Riverbed Command Center: Behavior Analysis Engine for SOC
StarLink & Riverbed Portfolio Integration
Riverbed SD-WAN: The Future of WAN
Commenting on the channel focused portion of the event, ElKhayat said, “We remain 100% channel driven so the enablement and education of our channel through such events is vital to our success. By attending the event, resellers and integrators will be rapidly brought up speed with the Riverbed solutions roadmap, and learn how to position Riverbed to their customers and cross-sell our solutions. They will also have the opportunity to gain direct access to key members of our regional team and network with their peers.”

Riverbed FORCE is a by-invitation only event that will take place from 8am to 2pm, followed by Riverbed Partner Connect from 2pm to 8pm. Both events will be held at Atlantis The Palm Hotel & Resort, Dubai.
