Help AG to Conduct Live-Hacking at GISEC to Highlight Top Middle East Cyber Security Vulnerabilities

In a bid to draw demystify enterprise IT security and demonstrate the growing sophistication and breath of modern cyber-attacks, Help AG, a leading information security services and solutions provider in the Middle East, will conduct live-hacking sessions at its stand at GISEC which takes place in Dubai from 29 to 31 March 2016. These demonstrations will coverage a range of the region’s biggest cyber threats including malware, Wi-Fi hacking, and social engineering attacks which pose a threat to individuals and businesses alike. Attendees will also have a chance to download Help AG’s free tool that detects and disables malicious Wi-Fi networks.

The live hacking demonstrations will be conducted at the dedicated presentation area of Help AG’s stand and will be regularly conducted through the course of the three-day event. The outlines for some of the main demonstrations that will be held are as follows:

Building malware and bypassing the anti-virus: How to assemble a virus and make it bypass anti-virus software to take full control over a target.
Evil twin wireless hacking: Help AG will introduce a tool developed by its team member, that allows hackers to perform sophisticated Wi-Fi attacks with great simplicity. This demonstration highlights how Wi-Fi access points can be compromised without cracking the password.
Hack the Hacker: In this, Help AG will demonstrate a tool that detects Wi-Fi hacking and disables the attacker’s signal. He will also explain how attendees can protect themselves by downloading and running this tool free-of-cost.
Social engineering tricks: Help AG will explain various social engineering techniques that grant hackers full control over a network.
Along with these live demonstrations, Help AG will leverage its participation at GISEC to conduct a number of presentations that draw attention to the key IT security topics in the region including, web application security, malware and anti-virus, wireless hacking, social engineering, website defacement and hacking, mobile application security, incident response and Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC).

Now in its 4th consecutive year, GISEC is established as the Middle East's only large-scale information security trade show and conference. The exhibition will focus on the latest information security trends, cyber security legislation in the Middle East and cyber security solutions in addition to knowledge exchange via a strong conference line-up, which brings together information security experts from Government & Military, Finance, Oil & Gas, Telecoms and large scale enterprise sectors.
