Epicor Software Corporation, a global provider of industry-specific enterprise software to promote business growth, has announced that its customers will benefit from a new release of its popular Epicor iScala ERP (enterprise resource planning) solution.
The iScala solution is designed for the worldwide divisions and subsidiaries of multinational corporations and local or regional companies that may have significant cross-border trading requirements. Building on previous versions, the latest release features a range of new functions and capabilities to help organisations gain a further competitive edge in the global marketplace.
Global compliance: Featuring a new electronic compliance platform that will help customers meet local legal electronic reporting and filing requirements, delivering reports in required XML format for ever-changing fiscal and business environment.
The platform leverages the powerful Epicor Service Connect framework and includes support for business event triggered reports, user defined data queries (Snap Searches), as well as tailorable screens.
There are several other enhancements to the iScala global compliance functionality that help organisations expand globally whilst meeting country-specific regulatory and legislative requirements. This is particularly valuable for customers operating in the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) and in countries across Europe that are introducing Single Audit File (SAF) compliance reporting.
Expansion of core capabilities: Including enhancements to key functional areas such as asset revaluation, credit control enhancements and service quoting and pricing. The latest version of iScala focuses on managing business critical information, making this available to users for reporting and data analysis. The Advanced Credit Control module is further enhanced to allow for improved control of credit extensions both under normal and out-of-the ordinary business such as ad hoc extension of a customer’s credit limit to allow completion of a project.
Simplifying common everyday tasks: Helping users save time and increase efficiency and productivity with enhancements including simplified master data management and enhanced system notifications and control.
Technology innovations and updates: Giving users more flexibility in performing their everyday jobs, Epicor Service Connect, the iScala integration and orchestration platform that is used to manage integrations and workflows, sees several enhancements designed at increasing throughput as well as reducing maintenance overhead. This is made possible using the new advanced troubleshooting and tuning capabilities.
Through the continued expansion of Epicor ICE 3.1, iScala customers get access to the expanded web-based and mobile dashboard capabilities.
Helping businesses stay compatible with the latest third party products, the latest release of iScala also includes support for Microsoft CRM 2016 integration including mobile access, Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and SAP Crystal Reports 2016.
The iScala solution enables organisations to make the right decisions at the right time -- delivering real business benefits through key legal, fiscal and statutory changes and increasing responsiveness to customers, suppliers and partners, and events affecting profitability.
Sabby Gill, executive vice president for Epicor International, commented, “Our iScala solution has proven incredibly popular with our customers over the years and with this new release we demonstrate our continued investment and innovation in the product. Epicor customers are urged to make sure they upgrade to the latest version of the software in order to benefit from all the new features. Together, we help our customers to realise their full growth potential by embracing new markets and new ways of working, whilst providing them with the tools they require to meet different requirements across the globe.”
