A10 Networks to Demo Industry’s First Solution Delivering Application and Security Services across all Enterprise Clouds and Data Centers at Gitex 2016

Published Oct 11, 2016

A10 Networks, a technology leader in application networking and security, today announced its participation at GITEX Technology Week 2016 where it will showcase the company’s A10 Harmony solution architecture. The first of its kind solution empowers businesses to deliver secure application services across traditional data centres, private, public and hybrid clouds, helping them become more secure, responsive and operationally agile as they bridge traditional and cloud-based application environments.

Henk Jan Spanjaard, vice president of EMEA Sales at A10 Networks says, “A10 Harmony was an architecture introduced in early 2015 that lays the foundation of a rapid services integration platform for enterprise, cloud, and service provider networks. With A10 Harmony, developers can integrate intelligent application networking services more easily with high-performance A10 Thunder Series Application Delivery Controllers (ADCs). Our recent acquisition of Appcito, a multi-cloud application delivery expert, adds to A10 Networks’ existing momentum around providing secure application service solutions that meet several key demands. These demands include application analytics, visibility, and centralized control.”

“Gitex provides us the ideal platform to meet with CIOs and IT managers and discuss this revolutionary architecture that will help enterprises become both 'cloud-ready' and 'cloud-native.”

A10 Harmony solutions include a cloud services controller for centralized application policy management and orchestration, elastic application traffic management capabilities integrated with DevOps processes, deep per-application visibility and analytics, and support for microservices and container-based applications.

A10 Networks will also demonstrate its wide range of market leading security solutions including DDoS protection, SSL Inspection, Data Centre Firewall, Gi/SGi Firewall, Secure Web Gateway, Web Application Firewall and DNS Application Firewall. The company recently signed a technology partnership with Cylance, a company that is revolutionizing cybersecurity through the use of artificial intelligence to proactively prevent advanced persistent threats and malware. The combined A10 Networks and Cylance solution brings together the best of secure application network technology with proactive prevention and detection of advanced persistent threats and malware. Cylance Protect is an ideal complement for A10 Networks’ SSLi solution, which offers very high-speed SSL inspection for end-user traffic, protection against malware even when encrypted in SSL/HTTPS and protection for incoming and outgoing email traffic.

A10 Networks can be found in Hall No. 1, stand No. F 1-25
