Great Place to Work® Recognises Delta Partners as One of the UAE’s top 24 Employers for 2017

Published Mar 8, 2017

Delta Partners, the leading advisory and investment company, specialised in the telecoms, media and digital (TMD) space, has been officially recognised as one of the ‘Top Companies to Work for in the UAE’ in 2017 by Great Place to Work®, a global research, training and consultancy firm that identifies the best workplaces in over 50 countries worldwide.

The official list, which was announced during an awards ceremony on 7 March 2017 at the W Dubai Al Habtoor City, is a ranking of the nation’s 24 best employers based on the confidential feedback of employees and an audit of management policies and practices.

Commenting on the news, Victor Font, Co-Founder and CEO of Delta Partners, said: “Great people make a great place to work, and we’re delighted to be awarded with this recognition. This achievement was only possible through the dedication of our team, who contribute to the success of our business, and who go above and beyond in order to deliver an excellent service to our clients on a daily basis. As a global employer with offices in six different countries, this recognition is a direct reflection of our commitment to our culture, values and maxims that help us to continue to evolve our offering.”

The team at Delta Partners spans across offices in key hubs, including the United Arab Emirates (with its headquarters in Dubai), South Africa, Spain, Singapore, Colombia and the United States of America. By engaging with clients and investors across all continents, Delta Partners helps bridge the ideas and capital between the developed and developing markets, and between the telecoms sector and the digital world.

To select the ‘Top Companies to Work for in the UAE’, Great Place to Work conducts an evaluation of each participating company. Two-thirds of the company’s score is based on the results of the Institute’s proprietary Trust Index© survey, which is sent to the employees from each company. The survey asks questions related to their attitudes about the management’s credibility, employee engagement and job satisfaction. The other third of the scoring is based on the company’s responses to the Institute’s Culture Audit©, which includes detailed questions about pay and benefits programmes and a series of open-ended questions about hiring, communication, and development.

Each entry is judged according to performance in eight key areas: Leadership, wellbeing, giving something back, personal growth, fair deal and how members of staff feel towards their manager, company and team.

Commenting on the Top Companies list, Maha Zaatari, Managing Director of Great Place to Work in the UAE, said: “This is without a doubt the strongest level of competition we have seen since launching the Top Companies programme in the UAE seven years ago. To be recognised as one of the best workplaces in the UAE is a significant achievement and winners should feel proud of their results. Congratulations to all the Top 24 list makers.”
