Veeam Celebrates World Availability Day on 30th March as Downtime is Not an Option

Today, the consumerization of IT underpins almost all the services we have come to rely on to live our modern lives. Activities as diverse as arranging a taxi through to internet banking, accessing streaming music services and, filing a tax return are all dependent on seamless and uninterrupted connection to a data center.
Any type of interruptions to these services can be frustrating, but in a business context, it can mean the difference between productivity and stagnation which can erode trust from customers and partners alike. Considering the critical role that data plays in our lives, Veeam has declared and celebrates World Availability Day on March 30 each year.
Regular backups may be fine for individuals looking to protect personal data including photos and emails, but organizations and service providers today need unconditional access to their applications and data, anywhere at any time.
