Samsung Launches ‘Score and Win with Samsung’

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a global leader in electronics, and official sponsor of the 2010 African Qualifiers has now launched an online campaign ‘Score and Win with Samsung’ to allowing consumers to further engage with the Samsung brand over the African Qualifiers.

“Egypt is preparing for an exciting qualifier, very soon, on their home turf,” said M. Duke Park, Samsung Cairo Branch Manager. “In such a football-crazy nation, this is a great opportunity for the fans into the spirit before the qualifier and for them to discover the latest technological advancements in the market. The Samsung Corby will be launching very soon in Egypt: this will be the first chance for Egyptians to experience the new Samsung Corby. We wish the Egypt national team all the best and hope that Egyptian supporters will be able to “Score and Win” with Samsung.”

The campaign is offering an interactive micro-site where visitors can play different level of the ‘Free Kick’ football game and win a Samsung Corby phone, a mobile phone designed to support the digitally connected lifestyles of today’s young mobile users.

“Samsung is proud to be the official sponsor of the African Qualifiers. The African Qualifiers is the greatest sporting spectacle in the African continent right at the moment.” said Mr Duke Park, Samsung Cairo Branch Manager. “We consider ‘Score and Win with Samsung’ campaign to be a unique platform for promoting the African Qualifiers and contributes to unifying people of all ages, races and genders. We will continue supporting and contributing to sporting events in Africa, through sophisticated digital and telecommunication technologies, essential in successful management of the modern day sporting event”.

The Samsung Corby phone will be handed out to the top twenty participants achieving the highest scores throughout the duration of the promotion taking place from October 5th to November 14th.
