Jordan: Princess Rym Ali of Jordan, a former journalist and correspondent, will open the annual Middle East Conference of the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA), to be held in Dubai on 29 February and 1 March next.

Jordan: Abdali Investment and Development PSC, the company responsible for the development of Abdali, the new downtown of Amman, has announced the appointment of Mr. George Amireh as its new CEO. The appointment follows the departure of Mr. Muhib Itani who ended his 2 year contract as the CEO of Abdali Investment and Development PSC.

Jordan: with the support of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, the Jordanian Microfinance Network in collaboration with SEEP, an international nonprofit network that supports local microfinance institutions, launched a workshop to address the business plan for the Network to discuss introducing new products and financial alternatives to diversify the financial services provided to the productive poor and low-income people in Jordan as part of the holistic financial inclusion approach of the government.
